This site is an independent editorial guide. It is published for information and reading. It is not a travel agency, not a booking service and not an intermediary of any kind. We do not take reservations, hold deposits, sell rooms or receive commission on anything you go on to book elsewhere.

The descriptions here concern one room in each hotel or resort. They are not a programme of events, not an assessment of the people who use the room, and not a guarantee that the room will be open, in the same use, or accessible when you arrive. Rooms are rebuilt, closed for works and put to other uses without notice.

We take care with what we publish, but we give no warranty that the material is current or complete. The month in the Filed In line tells you when we last opened the sources behind an entry, and nothing on the site is checked continuously after that.

Links to other sites are given for reference. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their availability or their handling of your data.

The text and photographs on this site are ours or are used with permission, and may not be republished without written consent. Hotel names and marks belong to their owners and are used descriptively.

If something here is wrong, tell us. Any hotel may send a correction about its own building, and we will read it and amend the entry where the correction holds. We do not accept payment for corrections, for entries or for placement, and we do not remove an accurate entry on request.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from the use of this site or from decisions made on the basis of it. These terms may change, and the version published here is the one that applies.

The Casino Hotels section describes concert and theatre halls and the ground around them at four Canadian resorts. Nothing in it is an inducement to gamble, and the gaming floor is not described.
